Create a rate

In this article, we explain how to create a rate within CallConfirmLive!

To create a rate, follow these simple steps:

  1. Log in to CallConfirmLive!

  2. Select System, then open Rate Administration.

  3. Select the relevant:

    • Agency.

    • Contract.

    • Rate Type (e.g. Invoice or Pay).

  4. Tick the From box and select Find.

  5. Select Add New Item.


Rate Header

  1. Enter a Rate Name.

  2. Select the required Duration Type.

  3. Enter a Start Date and, if applicable, an End Date.

  4. Enter a description if required.

  5. Tick the contracts the rate should apply to.

  6. Enter a Reference Code if required.

šŸ“ŒNote: The Reference Code field is typically used for the Budget Code when setting up invoice rates for Local Authorities.

You can also configure:

  • Permissions.

  • Client criteria (e.g. Location or Cost Centre).

  • Carer criteria (e.g. Team).

Once completed, select Rate Details.


Rate Details

  1. Select Add New Item.

  2. Enter a name for the rate detail.

  3. Configure the:

    • Days of the week.

    • Time bands the rate should apply to.

Once the rule details have been configured, select the Rules and Amount tab.


Rules and amount

Within this tab you can:

  • Set the minimum and maximum visit durations the rate applies to

  • Choose whether to:

    • Calculate the rate using increments, or

    • Not use increments

  • Configure rounding preferences

  • Enter a:

    • Per minute rate, or

    • Per hour rate

Once all details have been entered, save the rate configuration.
