There are a few reasons client visit plans will stop automatically creating visits. These are:
The client record has changed status to inactive with visit plans in place. If the client is activated at a later date, the visit plans that existed on the client record before it was reactivated will need to be recreated, so visits are created automatically again.
The client has an open service stop in the Stops/Prefs tab on the client record. An open service stop will prevent visits from being created during the period of the stop. If a service stop with no end date has been added, no visits will be created until the service stop is ended.
The client had an open-ended service stop added to their record, and the service stop has been deleted without ending it. After the service stop is deleted, the visits that existed before the stop was added will be reinstated, but the visits will no longer automatically be created. To resolve this, you need to recreate the visits in the client record by opening the client record and going to Visit Plans > double-click the visit plan to open it > Recreate Visits
The visit plan has had an end date added to it. Visits will no longer be created after the end date of the visit plan. If the end date was added in error, create a new visit plan to start on the day after the other visit plan ends.
We hope this helps you with this issue. If you are still having trouble after reviewing the above advice, please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article.
