Visit plan not creating visits

Everything you need to know about why visits are not being created automatically from a visit plan in CallConfirmLive!.

Written by Billy Dilks

There are a few reasons a client's visit plan will stop automatically creating visits.

The client record has changed status to inactive

If the client record has changed status to inactive with visit plans in place, the visit plans that existed before the record was reactivated will need to be recreated so visits are created automatically again.

The client has an open service stop

An open service stop in the Stops/Prefs tab on the client record will prevent visits from being created during the period of the stop. If a service stop with no end date has been added, no visits will be created until the service stop is ended.

An open-ended service stop has been deleted without ending it

If an open-ended service stop is deleted without being ended first, the visits that existed before the stop was added will be reinstated, but visits will no longer be created automatically. To resolve this, open the client record, select Visit Plans, double-click the visit plan to open it, then click Recreate Visits.

The visit plan has an end date

Visits will no longer be created after the end date of the visit plan. If the end date was added in error, create a new visit plan to start on the day after the other visit plan ends.
