Outlines the process for disabling an account, helping users control access and account availability.

Written by Billy Dilks

In CM Mobile, accounts are enabled to grant access and disabled to block access for security, inactivity, or when no longer needed.

How to Disable a CM Mobile Account

To disable a CM Mobile user account:

  1. Log in to User Manager.

  2. Search for the user's name using the search bar.

  3. Open the user's record.

  4. Locate the Account Status field.

  5. Change the status to Disabled.

  6. Click Save User to apply the changes.

Once saved, the user will no longer be able to access CM Mobile using that account.

Who Can Disable User Accounts?

User account management is the responsibility of the agency or local authority using CM Mobile.

If you require a CM Mobile account to be disabled, please contact a User Manager or system administrator within your organisation and ask them to follow the steps outlined above.

šŸ“ŒNote: Disabling a user account prevents future access while retaining the user's historical data and audit information within the system. If access is required again at a later date, the account can be re-enabled by an authorised User Manager.
