Missed medication alerts raised

A guide to understanding why missed medication alerts are raised when eMAR has been completed.

Written by Billy Dilks

If you have received a missed medication alert despite a care worker completing the eMAR for a client, this is likely due to your eMAR timeslot configuration.

For example, if your morning timeslot is 00:01–10:59 and the care worker completes the eMAR at 11:15, a missed medication alert will be raised because the eMAR was completed after the end time of the timeslot.

If a care worker has completed the eMAR before the end of the timeslot and the alert has still been raised, raise a new case online and reference the title of this article. Include the following:

  • A screenshot of your eMAR timeslots.

  • A screenshot of the completed eMAR.
