The Deep Dive

CM DC2 migration progress

We are pleased to inform you that the initial phase of the CM migration to DC2 was successfully completed on May 28th.

Post migration, some users may have experienced a period of intermittent system performance issues. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused your service. A full incident report detailing the cause, impact, and resolution will be made available shortly.

We are now beginning to see the benefits of the migration, with users already reporting improved performance and enhanced stability across both the CM Portal and Mobile App.

We appreciate your continued support and patience during this transition. If you have any questions or experience ongoing issues, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team or our dedicated DC2 team.

eForm updates

We had several issues raised with Forms that necessitated a fundamental change to the backend logic and some additional tweaks to the frontend flow. Our hope this change has made Forms easier to use and removes any previous frustrations.

The logic around the Auto Save (Draft) has been tidied up so this will no longer create duplicates. Just as a reminder, the Auto Save functionality will trigger when moving between pages on a form when a change has been made to the form data.

The previous “Save and Replace” option has been removed and is now more clearly indicated by the “Edit” button, using this will allow users to Edit a completed form with the option to overwrite the data using the “Save & Update” button.

Please Notes: The Edit option can be disabled at an organisational level, please raise a support ticket or speak with your Account Manager if you want this option disabled.

The “Create a Copy” button can still be used to create a new editable version of the form that will contain data previously recorded in the original Form.

Pop-up conformations have been introduced for specific options to make it clearer the result of any actions carried out.

CM Mobile UI refresh continues

Work continues with the UI refresh for CM Mobile. We will likely release all the UI changes in a single version but we wanted to keep you updated with the progress.
