If the MaxCare wizard has been run but the entry in the MaxCare journal shows a status of OptimisationFailed, open the record to view the full error message and identify the cause.
If the error shown is 'Error thrown by optimisation algorithm. Please resend request.', this is caused by at least one visit being configured with a MaxCare restriction that limits the available carers to one who is not available for those visits.
The restriction in place will be one of the following:
Allow time only to change.
Allow care worker only to change.
Do not change care worker or time.
If this error has only just started appearing, it is likely caused by a recent change to your visits or visit plans. Review any recent changes to identify the cause.
