It has been found that the show care worker assignment feature available on the visits screen can suffer from poor performance when there are hundreds of care workers and rotas being used.
This feature runs a calculation against each care worker to work out who is most suitable for the unassigned visit in question. The calculation time increases with the number of carers and rotas being used.
