Unable to merge client records

The unknown client wizard tool allows you to merge duplicate client records or clients that are unknown, into active records. The tool will move all information and visits to the record you choose.

If you are unable to run the unknown client wizard, you may require the permission granting to your user account. Please check with your company's user administrator to see if this can be added. If you are unsure if you have an existing user administrator, please raise a ticket and we can check this for you.

If you have the required permission but you are still unable to run the unknown client wizard on a client record, it may be due to the client record having purchase orders linked to them from the local authority. You can check this by opening the client record and looking in the purchase order tab.

If the client you are trying to merge has purchase orders assigned to it, please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article.
