If you receive a message to state that a client or carer record is in use by another user and currently locked, this is to ensure that two or more users are not updating a record at the same time.

Ask the user to come out of the record

The first thing to do is to ask the user that is currently using the record to come out of it in order for you to update it.


Locked by CM2000

If the message states that it is locked by CM2000, please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article. Ensure to include details of the record's name in the case.
