One potential cause of a low invoice value could be the purchase order assigned to the visit. Each purchase order has a commissioned value set by the local authority, which dictates the amount of care the local authority are willing to pay for during that invoice period.

If a single purchase order is split across multiple visits, the commissioned value linked to the purchase order will be evenly distributed across all of the linked visits. For example, if a purchase order has a 60-minute commissioned value and it has been linked to x2 60-minute visits, both of these visits will be capped to invoice at 30-minutes each.

To resolve this, ensure your local authority has submitted the correct purchase orders to finance manager according to the care required, and these purchase orders are linked to the visits properly.
