Medication stock count display issue

What to do if the medication stock count is displaying incorrectly in Client Manager.

Written by Billy Dilks

There is a known issue in Client Manager where the eMAR medication stock count can display multiple decimal places and show an inaccurate value, for example: 60.500000000014 or -14.299999999983.

This occurs when decimal values are administered rather than whole values — for example, 1.3, 0.6, or 0.1 instead of 1, 2, or 3.

📌 Note: There are valid cases where a decimal value is required. For example, if 100ml of medication is needed but only 10ml is administered, a value of 0.1 is correct.

This issue has been raised with the development team for further investigation. It cannot be resolved from the front end, so if you experience this issue, raise a case and include the following:

  • The client's details.

  • The eMAR details.

  • A screenshot of the stock count displayed.
