We are aware of an issue within client manager relating to eMAR whereby the medication stock count (if set) can show multiple decimal places and is not accurate. Example: 60.500000000014 or -14.299999999983.

This issue has been found to occur when decimal values are marked as administered, for example: 1.3, 0.6, 0.1 - instead of whole values of medication like 1, 2 or 3.

We understand there can be some instances whereby a decimal value would be required to be administered. In the case of 100ml of medication being required and only 10ml is administered, 0.1 is valid.

This issue has been raised to our development team for further investigation. Unfortunately, users will not be able to resolve this front end, so if you experience this issue, please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article. Please include the details of the client, eMAR and a screenshot of the stock count displayed so we can investigate.
