You may need to amend event matching rules in CallConfirmLive! if calls aren't linking to visits correctly, often due to changes in numbers, times, or logging methods.
Matching rules
The matching rules dictate how events match to planned visits. The settings that can be changed are as follows:
Early Arrival Range | This value sets how early a care worker can log into a planned visit, so the event still matches to the planned visit. |
Late Arrival Range | This value sets how late a care worker can log into a planned visit, so the event still matches to the planned visit. |
Duration Overrun | This value sets how long after the planned duration CallConfirmLive! accepts a log-out event for a planned visit.
For example, if the planned visit is 09:00 am to 09:30 am, and the Duration Overrun is set to 90 minutes, CallConfirmLive! will accept a logout event for the visit up until 11:00 am.
After this, an unmatched visit would be created. |
Min Visit Length is greater than | This value sets the minimum length a visit needs to be for matching. |
Max Unmatched Visit Length | This value sets the maximum length of an unmatched visit - a visit that is not linked to a planned visit. |
Max Time to Replace End Event | This value sets the time after receiving an end event for a visit, where another event will extend the duration of the first visit.
For example, if this is set to 30 minutes, if a care worker records a visit for a client from 09:00 to 09:30, and then registers another event for the client at 09:40, the log out at 09:30 will be discarded and the new start and stop will be 09:00 to 09:40.
If the carer logs an event after the value for this setting, then a new visit will be recorded. |
Look for PVs for alternative carer | This can be set to Yes or No.
When enabled, this option allows for alternative planned visits to be used when a different carer to the planned carer logs into the visit. |
