NFC

What is NFC? NFC is a technology that allows short-range wireless intercommunication.

To register a visit using NFC use the following steps:

  • On the visit screen, move the back of your handset over the tag.

  • You will hear a beep and the handset will vibrate briefly and a tick will show.

  • A banner at the bottom of the screen will show Matching visit please wait.

  • The client's initials and the time the tag was registered will then be shown in a circle at the bottom of the screen.

πŸ“Œ Note: When a tag is registered using the NFC method CM Mobile will match the information to that in the Client Manager application.

πŸ€“ Tip: A message showing, New tag collected may pop up on Android devices. This message is from the handset's NFC feature confirming a tag has been collected.

QR

What is QR? A QR scan is a process of scanning a QR code using an imaging device, like a camera or a scanner.

To register a visit using QR use the following steps:

  • On the visit screen click Scan QR.

  • You will see the QR code through the camera which will then be recorded, with a banner showing Matching visit please wait.

  • A circle will show with the client's initials at the bottom of the screen.

πŸ“Œ Note: When using the QR method CM Mobile will look to match this with the tag number entered in the device section of the client profile on your CallConfirmLive! database.
