CM Mobile supports two methods for registering a visit: NFC and QR. Follow the steps below for your preferred method.
NFC
NFC is a technology that allows short-range wireless communication between devices and tags.
On the visit screen, hold the back of your device over the tag.
You will hear a beep and feel a brief vibration — a tick will appear to confirm the scan.
A banner at the bottom of the screen will display 'Matching visit please wait'.
The client's initials and the time the tag was registered will appear in a circle at the bottom of the screen.
📌 Note: When a tag is registered using NFC, CM Mobile matches the information to the client record in Client Manager.
🤓Tip: A 'New tag collected' notification may appear on Android devices. This is the device's NFC feature confirming a tag has been detected and is not an error.
QR
A QR scan uses your device's camera to read a QR code.
On the visit screen, click Scan QR.
Point your camera at the QR code. Once scanned, a banner will display 'Matching visit please wait'.
The client's initials will appear in a circle at the bottom of the screen.
📌 Note: When using the QR method, CM Mobile matches the scanned code to the tag number entered in the device section of the client profile in CallConfirmLive!
