MFA setup for HAS‑CCL Citrix access may be required when users need stronger security, especially if they’re accessing systems remotely or their account hasn’t been enrolled in MFA yet.
What you need:
Your usual first stage CCL login details which is typically username: firstname.surname, password: firstname.surname01.
Microsoft Authenticator app already installed on your phone.
Step 1: Register your device
Open a private/incognito browser window
In Chrome: Click the 3 dots: “New Incognito Window”
In Edge: Click the 3 dots: “New InPrivate Window”
Copy and paste this link into the search bar: https://ccl.hsc.accessacloud.com/manageotp
Login using your usual first stage CCL username and password.
Click ‘add device’ give your phone a name e.g. Samsung Tony OHare and click go. The system doesn’t like apostrophes
A QR code will appear:
Open you Microsoft Authenticator app.
Tap the + icon choose ‘Other (Google, Facebook, etc)
Scan the QR code.
You will see CCL account has been added to your account.
Go back to the registration page, click test, and add the passcode from Authenticator app in the test box and click go.
You’ll get a green tick confirming setup is complete. Close your browser.
Step 2: Sign in to Citrix
Open your browser normally i.e. not in private or incognito.
Copy and paste this link into search bar: https://ccl.hsc.accessacloud.com/.
Enter your first stage CCL username and password as before.
Open the authenticator app on your phone and get your 6 digital code from your CCL account.
Enter the code is passcode box the click submit.
You’re in!
Click on CCL test icon.
You should see the following message:
